If we look back when the first calendars were made, we go way way way back because they’ve been in use for over 2000s years. Calendars were used because people discovered patterns of time and seasons. People started tracking the weather and writing notes under the date and day to have a clear vision. These trackings affect how they planted, harvested, and they hunted. Fast forward, today, we still use calendars for almost the same reason. The reasons are not much different except our topics today are named other. We use them to track our social events and appointments.
So the role the calendars play in our lives today is to keep us up-to-date, not forget, and help us be more productive. We experienced over the years that calendars allow us to track the dates and days. However, we tend to forget about our present moment because of our busy and fast life schedule.
A great reminder is a wall calendar because it’s there in your face, and it ensures that essential jobs do not get left off the list and everything that needs to be accomplished gets done. Also, calendars help us prioritize because we mark necessary things down before those not-so-important ones. As a result, they are helping us stay on task and reminding us to take a break. For example, we always mark our Vacations and Holidays down on calendars with big letters. Studies have shown that people need breaks every so often to stay productive and get more things done. So when you see that marked-up notification on your wall calendar saying vacation, your life gets easier.
There are tons of calendars on the market to pimp-up-your-wall. This year start with ours.
